In all fairness Conor you don't have to join PuGs, you're making it sound
like gaining XP is out of your control. Try this: "I can't, sorry :(".
Frownie optional, it's what I do and it works wonders. :)
I could play more, but I choose not to as I know the game has limited
content (and no end game content worth speaking about) and I want to
experience it with a consistent party (i.e. you guys) as if it was a PnP
game.
Personally, I'm more than happy to just play Alannon once a week. I'm in no
rush to get to 10/12 and run out of things to do.
Other option I'm considering is repeated suicides to get my xp down a bit.

Good luck, each death will be about 350 xp or so, so you're looking at
dozens of deaths. Pity the corpses don't remain. "Free Cleric Corpses,
getcher Cleric Corpses while they're congealing!"
