decent armour should be available pretty quicky tbh. I played for a while last week (4 hours) and had picked up Masterwork Padded and Masterwork Leather and Masterwork Scale armour by the time I logged out.
 
Course that may not mean anything?

	Think I'd prefer Human... I'm presuming that bonus feats and skills are good things. But that is why I asked for advice... the availability of good armour in the early game would really sort out the decision for me :)
