Ah damn you... I was gonna slip that in quietly :)

We now have: http://www.angrydragons.com set up (with lots of graphical
help from Bren).

The idea behind it is this: Instead of your normal guild website with
forums blah blah etc, I wanted some sort of "creative" RP outlet - for
me at least, what you guys want to do is up to you. I hope you'll
consider adding your unique talents to the mix. What I've created is a
"blog" for our characters (and group), the idea being that it's the
character, not the player, who is blogging their journals etc.

It is "open registration" at the moment and will remain so unless there
is a need to close it. Again, the idea is that the Angry Dragons
register as themselves (there is a Wynn and Annabelle already), and not
only that, but they RP always in character... e.g. if you post an entry
and someone comments, then you respond in character.

Even though Leigh's character is a cutesy little halfling in game, I
honestly can't RP when I'm hearing "Hoorin be-yotch" over the VC... so
this, for me, is an alternative way to RP.

If you want an account, then just register as your character... Let me
know and I will give your character "Author" rights so thereafter you
should be able to post new entries.

To create your account etc, there is a little "login" icon in the top
left corner of the page... click on it :> When you are logged in you get
a second icon called "Site Admin" this brings you into the "posting etc"
interface for writing content etc.

There are only 2 categories at present, Journals and Biographies - Feel
free to suggest more. If you place a post in biographies with your
character's first name as the title, then it is automatically included
in the list at the foot of all pages. It would be good if we could do
this for all of our AD characters.

Also, if you place a brief self-description in the "Description" field
of your profile, that will be shown whenever anyone hovers their mouse
over your name in a post.

Finally, the dates, as you will notice are not "right"... I've written a
little plugin for wordpress (the blog software) which converts the dates
to the Ebberon calendar. Now.. you *will* get purists who will whine
that all months in the Ebberon calendar are 28 days long, so the 29th of
XXX is wrong, but fuck that. I'm not about to create some way of mapping
a 336 day year to a 365+1/4 day one. Life's too short. We'll live with
the inconsistency (at worst, we can alway change posting dates so that
there is never any 29-31 dates showing up)

Wordpress itself is a little confusing and daunting at first but the
only functionality you really need is just to write new posts. If you
guys want, we can take a 1/2 hour one evening for me to show you how (if
you're running into difficulties on your own).
