On reflection I may not be on tonight after all because -

(a) I have to check with my social secretary
(b) I have promised Leon we will watch last Saturday's Dr Who together 
as he has waited for me
(c) It is season end of Battlestar Galactica.

Other nights should be OK.

On the whole though I am still not sure if I will buy. I enjoyed the 
other night but the thing I find with these MMORPG games is that it 
becomes too much of a mechanistic exercise and tbh I was never into 
that. I played role playing games for the role playing. :) Now I know 
you can't expect to recreate that in a game and Joe tells me the craic 
on TS is fab so I hope still to participate, but I just can't read 200 
line emails with 50 TLA's and words like 'mob' and 'aggro' and 'dps' 
without falling asleep after three lines, so don't expect me to (a) read 
them (b) not do a Leroy in game cos of (a).

I have never played the 3rd ed ADND so I still have no clue about how 
feats and skills work for example. I couldn't tell you my armour class 
(it's reversed now isn't it?) and my weapon proficiency is probably 
something sharp. I think. I can, however, tell you that I became a bard 
because music is the window to everyones soul and if you can control 
souls, you can control the world.
