Why do you always want us to die on hard, Leigh? ;)

I don't think hard for level 4 quests is a good idea any time soon, normal
was hard enough (particularly on Conors character). Hard means that the
dungeons are 3 levels higher than normal, elite being 6 levels higher, I
believe, which means we're trying to take groups of level 7-9 mobs.

Now, apart from all the burly blokes swinging at us (and hitting us) with
sharp, heavy metal objects and on top of the fireballs and lightning bolts
we'll also be taking level 4 and 5 spells which include: Bestow Curse (-4 to
attack and saves! Yay!), Hold Monster (Will save or have every two-bit,
knuckledragger's swing hit and crit on you and thus die in .0002 of a
second), Cloud Kill (Area spell, Fortitude save or *die*) or my personal
favourite, Poison (Fortitude save or take D10 constitution damage + another
D10 a minute later, seeing that your saves against poison depend on your
Constitution score this spell can kill any of us easily, except Odile with
her big Con and Fort saves due to dwarven poison and magic resistences,
she'd need to be a bit unlucky).

Both Conor's and Diarm's characters are close(ish) to level 4 I believe,
maybe we should get them to level 4 too before we go back in there? More
HPs, better saves and to-hit bonuses and more Spell Points? It could be a
lot easier.

BTW lads, just in case you're curious about spells, attacks, saves and so
on, the D&D 3.5 ed System Reference Documents contains all the rules
information from the Players Handbook, Dungeon Masters Guide and Monster
Manual, it's found at:
