Hey Brian, thanks.
No idea what they used, they sewed through 4 layers, the tendon, the bit
over it (can't remember the danish name) and 2 layers of skin. I could feel
them pull both sides as my foot moved when they pulled the lower and my
muscle moved when they moved the upper. uncomfortable feeling. It happened
about 5 pm Tuesday playing squash I was in the ER and casted up by 7pm. I
was shipped to the OR the next day and operated on by 13:00, and recieved a
new splint cast. I was home by 18:00. I get another cast tomorrow after the
swelling goes down after the op. 3 weeks with pointed foot cast followed by
at least 3 with straight foot cast then physio. I am glad I paid my taxes as
all this is free :-)
Thanks for the well wishes. Dorte is driving me to Uni today so I hope not
to miss too much. Hurts like a m#therfucker now though after surgery.
