[ddo] After Easter

I'll rant.
I think WoW is nowhere near the game that DDO is.
Graphically cartoony,
Farming ..... ughhhh.
Ok - not much of an rant, but there ya go.
Leigh if you want to - send on your stuff to Tryxia, I'll leave it in
the bank (locked) that way you can cancel your account and not lose your
stuff (ya never know). I can do the same for anyone else who's planning
the same.
If anyone else wants to do the same - feel free.
On a different note of online play - I'm going to set up a floating
poker game, intention is to play once a month online.
Simple plan - we take over a "room" on paddypowerpoker.com one night a
month. The rooms are 6 person or 9 person, and we will have to
completely feel a room for my plan to work.
We'll be on teamspeak for taking the mick.
Assuming we fill the room we will only lose money to each other.
Paddypower do make money on the translation ie u buy credit on the site
in euro and they convert to dollars (with an exchange rate in their
favour), but once thats done its done.
If a rogue (not one of us) gets into the room - we will either leave and
populate an empty room or we will clean them out of it by the rest of us
playing against them using teamspeak.
Anyway - its an idea in its relative infancy, but there's about 4 people
interested already.
Let me know.

Actually I've been seriously considering a return to WoW now
that our DDO group
has fallen apart... For me it's far more important to have the
camraderie than
anything else, so I'll play whatever game people want to play to
avail of it.
Besides, we can transfer chars in WoW now can't we? (by paying
Blizzard some
money) so if there was one server where I could meet up
regularly with people
like yourself Dave, your alter ego (Shocky), Cliffy, Diarm,
Mike, hjw etc. then
I'd be well up for that.
Joe
