OK, so lets get the ball rolling on this one then, I like the fantasy
grounds but at the end of the day it's pretty much up to Brian IMO as he has
to DM and therefore use the software most.
It's "pretty" but has the advantage of having the rules to hand and a pretty
ok system.
We could just go with a sketch pad and a dice program but the pad would have
to be pretty accurate as from what I understand, 3.5 is all about the
positioning. I've never played but am going on what Chop has told me.
So who is *really* interested? I am, and will have to drop DDO, but that's
ok if we get a good game up and running.
Thoughts on numbers? Min/max, Brian? Bit about the ole campaign? A
taster...mmmmm..
Ca we get a separate mailing list set up a little later?
Are there others who may be interested? I know you said Bren Joe but what
about Conor/Chopper as well for instance?
I propose for next week, by the time we are on DDO, if we have not reached
an agreement yet we should at least have
1. Which tabletop system we will use
2. If not an existing one, have parcelled out the work to the computer gurus
to write a dice generator/whiteboard with grid
3. Have a basic idea of who would like what if we do go ahead with the game
deadline Mon Feb 12. ( I always feel giving time constraints helps :p)
Your friendly dictator, Leigh.
