<BR>Hey Mike... welcome aboard muckah!<BR><BR>Now... before we all get too
carried away I should explain something<BR>*very* important.<BR><BR>Leigh,
Conor, Dalton and I are playing DDO:S really really as if it was<BR>a PnP
game. That means we're only meeting about one evening a week for
<BR>4-5hours. This way we play fresh content together and enjoy the
content<BR>rather than rushing through it "WoW-style".<BR><BR>I don't know
how addicted you are and what your intentions for the game<BR>are but I
think you should be aware of that up front... maybe that's not <BR>enough
playtime for you etc.</BLOCKQUOTE>
<DIV><BR>That sounds good to me, the idea of one or so evenings a week sounds
great, I enjoyed Neverwinter Nights a hell of a lot more online with you guys
than I did single player but I missed out a lot due to the aggressive schedule
that the game was being played on. And I'm in no real rush to get to level 10
(particularly because there's no real end game that I can see). <BR><BR>And
well, if it's not enough time, I can either start a second character (with my
personal "no spoilers" guarantee) or carry on in WoW, still have to get the
last 2 levels for my rogue and there're raids galore and so on. I contracted
altitis in WoW, I have about 12-15 characters spread across 3 servers.

for group structure... since DnD is much more open ended than WoW etc<BR>you
can pretty much play any class as any "job" so don't feel restrained.
<BR><BR>At present we have:<BR><BR>"Tanking focused" fighter
(Dalton)<BR><BR>"Scouting and Traps" focused Rogue (Leigh)<BR><BR>"Combat"
focused Cleric (Conor) - I could be wrong but I get the <BR>impression Conor
wants to be more bashy than bandagey - feel free to<BR>correct me
C.<BR><BR>"Damage" focused Mage (Me)</BLOCKQUOTE>
<DIV><BR>Well, you've got the basics covered so I can do whatever I want. Go
me! Either way look for Anya, the feisty redhead. I've "reserved" the name on
Bolderei, she's currently a cleric... or ranger... or something. :)<BR><BR>I
might go for a martial class, I'd love to be a (missile) ranger, tbh the last
few D&D chars I rolled have been rangers, I just never get to *play* one.
A ranger would also come in handy for backing up the Rogue ( i.e. providing a
second target for the enemies). :)<BR><BR>Hmmm an Elven cleric would also get
ranged weapons... might be an option. Its a tough choice.<BR><BR>Or a paladin.
Gah! Curse your wealth of choice D&D!<BR><BR></DIV>

of the things we're sort of trying to do (more guideline than hard<BR>and

<BR>Dalton who is playing the token "Big Dumb Bloke" :) Well... the boys
