Spartak Sanger are a loose collection of would be sporting masochists who enjoy nothing better than spending every Sunday deluding themselves into thinking they have some sort of athletic ability other than downing pints of lager and being able to expertly switch between watching the football and that dodgy movie on Channel 5 without breaking into a sweat.

The team itself is based around the Hinxton Genome Campus but as the years have gone by, the links of some of the players to the campus has become so tenuous that they are considering getting Jack Charlton as their manager.

This website is dedicated to recording their effort, bravery and undying inability to recognise total failure as any valid reason for mercifully hanging their boots up.

Spartak currently play in the Cambridge and District Friendly League.
