The Spartak boys are back in their boots and raring to go. To the pub, after the match, unfortunately. Last season was one of many lows and highs (ok, not so lows), from a start that would have embarrassed Sunderland to some great performances againt First Division sides, the season as a whole can be viewed as a bedding in time for Spartak where they learned to find their feet and gel as a squad. Which is as charitable as I can be. In the closed season Spartak has been a hive of activity. Still though, there are a few new faces which will hopefully help drive the team on towards success. Or just drive the team to the pitch really. This season though, there can be no excuses, the team has had so much time to gel now it is practically concrete and nothing less than a top 3 finish will appease their enthusiastic supporters.
