| After a huge win in the league
and a week's rest you'd imagine the Spartak machine should be well oiled come this
fixture. Unfortunately most of the Spartak lads seem to get well oiled the night
before the matches which doesn't seem to help very much.
After the high jinks of a Wolves-type win it's back to reality for the
Spartak lads this week with the visit of another first division team. Spartak still
entertain vague hopes of promotion this year but with a crop of games coming up
against some of the big hitters in the first division, the next few games are key.
Can the Spartak lads carry their cup fighting
spirit into these last few league matches? Can they close a seven point gap on
second place? Can they keep getting so many subs?
All will be revealed in the exciting climax to the season and it's
been a while since most of Spartak have had an exciting climax not involving a video
cassette.
