| Report | So, still in both cups, but not
as they expected, it's back to the league campaign this week for Spartak. Their
opponents are challenging for their league position so Spartak will want to put down
a marker that they will at least finish third. They are in severe danger of turning
into the Liverpool of the second division.
Hopefully a week's rest will have invigorated their bodies and minds
and they can produce an emphatic performance as the season draws to a close. The
worry is of course that a week off will have deepened their laziness, as if such a
thing were possible, and they become the Leeds of the second
division. Come to think of it, Leeds will probably be the Leeds of the
second division in a year or two.
