After the recent cup heroics where Spartak produced a wonderful performance of
grit and determination to reach the CDFL Cup final, this match against
first division side The Dobblers would appear to have little
importance to the Spartak lads considering they are unlikely to gain
promotion this year. However, such an attitude would of course be
defeatist and the momentum of winning is always to be desired so the
Spartak crew are sure to put just as much effort into this match as
any other. Honest.
With the season drawing to a close, Spartak can at least look forward
to a place in the season's final game against Darley Stud in the cup
final, but they still know that they have to keep their fitness and
edge if they are to do themselves justice there.
Of course there is still the chance they could be in cup action the
week before as well in the Second Division cup Final as they are still
in the semis of that. Bayer is fast becoming the Theatre of
Dreams. Well, the Theater of Wet Dreams anyway, which is better than
the Theater of Nightmares it was last year.
Pools forecast an away win in this fixture, but who cares. We're off
to Cardiff...er..Soham!
