Back to reality for poor Spartak League
Date 29/09/2003
Time 10:30
Location Bayer
Fixture Spartak Sanger vs Waggon and Horses
Report

Spartak Sanger are indeed the Tiger Woods of football. No, they don't win, but they are more likely than not under par. Or they could be like Colin Montgomery because the played like a bunch of big tits. Still though, after the embarrassing performance on Sunday, Spartak have chosen to look on the bright side, the only way is up!

Now that the surreal adventure of a winning start to the season is over, the Spartak lads will hopefully reapply themselves to the hard graft for 90 minutes and strain to get back to winning ways. The opposition are well known this week and as always a hard fought game is in prospect against the newly promoted Waggon lads. Spartak need to tighten up in all areas of the pitch, particularly the laces in their shorts if they don't want to be as badly exposed as they were in the last match.

In other news, rumours that Glen Hoddle has expressed an interest in managing the Spartak lads were denied last night. As one Spartak club official was quoted as saying "Things haven't got to that bad a stage yet."
