| Report | Still bruised from the bitter disappointment of
losing a game which they should have had won by half time, Spartak will hope to make
amends this week and embark on one of there legendary Cup Runs. Well, Cup Sprints
really as they are usually over in about 10 seconds.
After the amazing events of last week with 435 players turning out for
selection, will Spartak be able to have the same luxury this week against Genetics?
And will there regulars be able to endure the mental torture of that unheard of
condition - pressure for keeping your place? Probably not. Still though they need
not fear, the cold weather is coming soon and that should occasion a return to the
normal order of scraping 8 players together whose hangovers aren't too severe.
Another strange event is that the bookies have
Spartak down as favourites for this one and this in itself means that any slip-ups
will be severly hard to take. We don't want the supporters...sorry supporter to get
restless now do we? |
