| Report | Spartak, buoyed up from their
commanding cup win last week will hope to transform this into their league
performance this week. With the disappointment of their utterly undeserved last
league defeat still fresh in their minds they will hope to get the train back on
track today in their drive for promotion. Well, amble towards promotion. They are
environmentally friendly in that respect. Again competition for places should be
high with interest levels remaining strong despite plunging temperatures which just
goes to show the commitment, dedication and perhaps sheer stupidity of these hardy
bunch of men is tremendous indeed!
The
opposition this week are an unknown quantity and Spartak will want to be on their
guard. They must feel that the key to their success lies in converting a much larger
percentage of the numerous scoring chances which they create. Having seen an open
goal missed from two yards last week, perhaps optimism in this are is a bit
misplaced. |
