| Report | Spartak are like an
underachieving shoplifter, doing everything right up until the bit where they take
the goods home, preferring instead to panic and then they get caught red handed.
After recent performances Spartak can feel seriously aggrieved not to have taken six
points from their last two leage games instead of one which would of course have
left them sitting pretty at the top of the table. Having controlled both matches and
letting leads slip is a bad habit to be getting into and Spartak need to start
scoring more goals and shipping less if they are to ever get some just rewards.
Speaking of top of the table, the opponents this
week currently occupy that spot and this could be a defining moment for the Spartak
season. Nothing less than a win here is crucial if they are to harbour any delusions
about promotion and / or actually winning something. Perhaps we should be thankful,
it wasn't long ago they had delusions of getting off the park without letting double
figures in.
Also after rumblings of discontent
within the squad will the Spartak lads be able to pull together (eew) and start
their charge towards the title or will they pull an Ireland and have a dramatic
squad bust up which could be the talk of the local papers for literally seconds?
