| Report | After the debacle last week
Spartak will be turning to a cup this week for some solace from their dismal league
results of late. Always the bridesmaids in the league (which may explain their form,
it's damn hard to run in those stupid dresses), they hope to go all the way in at
least one cup this year to maybe salvage something from the season.
Mind you it will be a relief to return to playing
football this week instead of footleg which the opposition last week seemed keen on.
Hopefully we won't be hearing any more screams of "BREAK HIS LEGS!" in a 'friendly'
league this season.
Sometimes playing at home can
be an advantage, however, since the opposition are also at home this week, perhaps
that should be discounted. This is the first meeting of both teams ensconed at the
Bayer playing fields and lets home it will be an entertaining one. If not, ah well.
