Its Been a While.
Rory is now crawling, Jules is now 3 and can talk the back leg of a donkey.

I am back to doing a bit of running in prepairation for doing the Dublin Marathon again this year.
Life has been Uber busy and I have been a bit neglecting of this site and the .Mac site, but I have been good about keeping the training blog up to date.
Work has been Uber Uber busy, with an epic trip to the US in Feb which took in the AAOS (big orthopaedics meeting) and a trip to see the FDA ,to convince them of what good sorts we all are.
Then we had a "holiday" in March at the end of which Jules got the lurgy so bad he ended up in hospital on a drip and at about the same time Rory transformed into one big scab! Turns out he had eczema which we have now brought well under controll with creams and such (props to the mighty Aveno)
In the garden, my pruning of the apple tree seems to have resulted in very lush growth, but very poor fruiting! I will have to look into it a bit for next year.
The odd weather we had (hot dry spring with a cold wet early summer) seemed to bring out a bumper crop of slugs this year as everything in the first planting on the plot got compleatly hammered. I am considering digging the whole thing over so as to try for a more sucessful second planting.
The other major news is Lisa got her hair cut short and it looks real good, but them I'm bias.
So the plan now is to try to post to this blog once a week and post some photos here or links to stuff on the .Mac site.
