Sprint Swim

Aim: Threshold Swim set
Session:
Easy warm up and drills followed by 5 sets of 50m sprint+50m steady with 1 min rest between reps.
200m pull
Warm down

Sounds like an easy set! But it wasn't ! Full bore sprint swim hurts. Good peaking session I reckon.

Of course, with the benefit of hindsight, I would have been better off doing breaststroke sets :-)
